Jackson Hole 09'

We had a blast going to Jackson Hole this weekend! It took us 2 1/2 hours to get there, and my butt is killing me, but it was so worth it! We went the scenic route of the Palisades Dam and Lake. So beautiful! Once we got there we ate lunch at yummy Mickey D's then walked around the town and looked in the stores. We came across a Russian store, so of course we had to stop! The lady that owned the place is from Belarus, and Aaron talked to her a little in Russian (pretty impressive!). She had a quite a few russian items but Aaron said the only good thing is Kvas, a famous russian drink. In Ukraine they sell it off the streets, and warm. Yuck! We had it cold and carbonated! The smell turned me off right away, but it ended up not being too bad. (can't wait to visit Ukraine!) My favorite was the Art Galleries!! I saw a painted picture for $245,000. Yah... We loved seeing all the fellow bikers. We love the commrodery (sp.?) between ALL bikers. We give either a head-nod or a hand wave. You just stick your hand down at an angle and they do the same. Like, "yah, we're cool". Just kidding. But really, we are... So we just walk around, and then we come along all the stuffed fake animals. So much fun! Its such a great little town! We will definitaly be going their again soon. Hopefully with other bikers, or family! For now, I will rest my bottum on a nice couch and try to convince Aaron to get a cruiser bike so I can have a sissy-bar behind me for support!

fathers day

Aaron: Aaron will be a great father! I love to watch him interact with little kids, and especially this little angel. Happy Future Fathers Day sweetheart! I love you!

Dad Dave: Aaron dad, Dave, is a great dad and father-in-law! He has helped us out a lot, and he we love him. He's a fun guy to be around and is a very loving man!

Dad Bret: My Dad is so great, and I love him very much! He's so unique and loving and such a hardworker. I love you dad!

Fathers day was a bit lonely, being in Rexburg with neither dad around was sad. But we definitaly called and wished them a happy day. I'm glad I got to spend it with a future dad, my hubby! :)
Wow, what a crazy day. The death of theCharlie's Angel, Farrah Fawcett earlier today, then just hours ago the death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson!

CPR/First Aid Certified!

Aaron and I are now officially certified! Aaron was reccomened that he was certified for his contruction job and it's much cheaper to do it at the school then with a regular outside program. It wasnt too bad. CPR training was definitaly a lot harder, and it was a 4 hour class. There was a skills test which was a little diffcult, but we both passed.

We were trained to use an AED (Automated external defibrillator). Its really easy and tells you everything to use. It's use is if a person needs to be shocked while your are giving CPR Compressions. Pretty cool, and they have them all over the campus at BYUIdaho. They run i think about $1000 a peice! small price to pay to save a life, wouldnt you say?

It was a fun class with good teachers. And the certification last 2 years! I've been certified before while going to Girls Camp and during my high school health class but really it didnt mean much then... and it was easy to pass to get the certificates. But this time it was more definitaly more difficult to pass the skills test because everything was in much more detail. Anyways we're class we better understand how to do all these important techniques and things to know just in case we need to use it! If you want to learn more just Google it! It's easy!

I CAN OFFICIALLY SAVE A LIFE! :)
