we're still at work.................... 11:40pm and counting

Aaron got a MASSIVE beyond MASSIVE project thrown at his face to complete, he worked 80 hours last week, and now 2 days into this work week he's already hit over time. Is he insane or what. He has intense work ethic, and can kick anyones trash when it comes to getting things done on time. It is currently 11:40 as i look at the clock, and little did I know we'd still be here by this time, but i'm stickin it out with him. He'd fall asleep otherwise... just kidding...

i'm pretty tired.... needless to say i've managed to thrown in a little In In Out burger, some Biggest Loser, and I've finally caught up on my blog stalking...

he's gotten 800 or so papers printed of his project, and has got about 400 more... this thing is HUGE

i think we're both at the point of no return...

todays idol

I dont know about you, but I absolutely adore Miss Taylor Swift. (p.s. this is Aubrey writing....) I think she is not only one the of the best young artists of our day, but a great example and idol to young girls everywhere. She takes pride in standing out, working hard, being kind to others and being yourself. She was a guest on Oprah not to long ago, but her advice to the audience and young girls was if your going into the singing industry or in any other industry... be kind. It will pay off in the end, and not only will they become your friend, but you will be much happier with yourself. Taylor is amazing! And her lyrics, are even better! Some of her songs I can't relate to, but as a younger teen I definitaly could have and I would have listened to her songs and probably felt like I could feel a part of the song and feel like someone knew what I was going through. Taylor makes a point to be different. (At one point when I was about 17, I could relate to every single song on Avril Lavigne's "under my skin" album. And I felt so much better knowing I could listen to a certain song and feel so much better about life after I listened to it.) Her beauty alone makes me want to be more like her, but at 19, she's changing the world with her music and she really stands out to me as a person to look to for support.

A couple songs of her that really stand out to me are

Fifteen
White Horse
Fearless
Change

*thought I would just let the little girl in me let you know I love Taylor Swift and her music! I just hope you dont see me driving down the road, because you WILL see me blasting and blaring her music! :)

9/11/2009

What a better place to spend on 9/11 than at Angel Stadium watching an All-American Baseball game! I wanted to get to the stadium early because I knew they would do something to tribute all who died that day in 2001. And we wern't disappointed! The flag bearers were men/women from the Orange County Fire Authority and Police Departments. And they had a little 9 year old girl sing the Nat'l Anthem! Then showed a great video/slideshow of patriotic events with awesome American songs in the backround. Now all we needed was to say the Pledge of Alligance! I am so glad we got to spend time remembering that day and having a moment of silence for those who died and tried to save many lives. Of course we remembered them in our prayers that day. I am so greatful for this wonderful country and the freedoms that we have and all the men and women who work hard to protect our country. And I'm especially greatful for our Founding-Fathers, for their patriotism, for their devotion, and for their loyalty to God and His country and the fact that they understood what was their purpose.

Angels Stadium: Happiest Place in Southern California!! :)

Gotta stay for Friday night Fireworks!!

Wil's Baptism Weekend!

it's official! As of September 5th, Sir William Wallace II is officially baptised. I was fortunate enough to make the trip to Sandy Utah friday morning to Sunday night. it was great to see my family in their new house and loving it! it's so much bigger, and better! Mackenzie goes to a great High School (Alta) and has new friends. William loves his school and new friends, and especially loves being baptised. Paisley is just having a grand time no matter what she's doing! Mom and Dad are adjusting and getting new jobs and such. Anyways, being their to help with the baptism and make food and stuff was a lot of fun. I was basically the photographer for the whole weekend, and i didn't mind a bit! I took some great photos!

And of course, 8-year-old, insane, amazing, hilarious Sir William Wallace II. Wow, what a mouth-ful! and so is his mouth!
