My 21st Bday

I had a FANTASTIC 21st bday, no I didnt go skydiving or anything like that, but my wonderful husband made it AMAZING! (thanks honey!) On Saturday night we went out to dinner at Applebee's and got a delicious Asiago (pronounced Asia-go HAHA JK) Steak, then headed over to the bowling alley, then delicious ice cream at Dairy Queen! Then after that we headed home and rented the movie Lovely Bones, which was very good. The next day which was my actual birthday (April 25th), woke up had a nice breakfast.. went to church then headed over to my mother in law Denise's. Ever since Saturday night I think Aaron wouldnt let me look in the freezer so I didnt find out until we got to Denise's. It was a delicious, yummy, Ice Cream cake from Coldstone! I was so excited! He totally redemed himself from my 19th bday which that cake was a failure haha. Aaron had everything planned, even what we had for dinner! That week I was bugging Aaron for Chicken Alfredo so his mom made that for us (yum!) and after dinner I opened presents!

I got some wonderful things! A new reciepe book, photo album, WAFFLE maker! From Aaron I got all the honeymoon/wedding/reception pictures printed out so I can make a scrapbook, $40 for a new robe, and an AWESOME FISH TANK!!! Aaron spent the whole day on saturday cleaning it and getting awesome stuff for it. It came with 5 fish and then a couple days ago we got another one. So I have 6 fish! It so much fun and so much easier than a dog or cat or Baby for that matter! Aaron really outdid himself this year I am so lucky to have him!

I mentioned earlier I had a early bday party in Utah with my family and I got some great gifts from my Mother, THANK YOU EVERYBODY for the great 21st bday! I cannot believe i'm 21 now... everytime I tell someone I'm that age, they say "youre so young!" yes I am, but I dont feel like it! haha

This year will be a great year I think and I'm going to make the most of it! Plus I have my wonderful Aaron to be at my side :) How am I going to top this with his 25th birthday in November!??!? Love you honey!

the best part is not knowing what i'm going to get! Aaron is the BEST at bdays, holidays, anniversaries... he just blows me away with how creative and thoughtful he is! I'm such a slacker compared. Lucky me! :) hehehe. It's my birthday, its my birthday, gunna party like its my birthday!

little trip to Sandy

Aaron and I went to Sandy, Utah over the weekend. It was so much fun! Thursday night we went and saw the movie Valentines Day and I loved it, it was hilarious and pretty cute. Friday we went on a hike with the family, that was fun and pretty interesting. Once we started hiking down the mountain we saw 2 helicopters above and 3 cop cars driving up the mountain, it was scary and so sudden. We didnt know what was going on. I had mentioned that earlier to make the hike more fun to start "looking for bodies" and now they really believed me! haha turns out a 15 yr old boy fell back and hit his head on a rock and they air lifted him out. We saw the helicopter land and everything right were we were! You'll also notice in the pictures Stephanie, she is my 2nd cousin and moved in with my parents. Her and Mackenzie are best friends and twins. She's the "nice" sister I never had, just kidding. Anyways, we also went mini golfing at Mulligans. Steph and Luis went with us, Luis also being my "brother" he lived with us before he got baptised and went on his mission. He moved to Utah too! Golfing was so fun, very warm outside! something i've been looking forward to :) and dad was so serious playing golf... it was hilarious don't think he's golfed in a while. Later since it is my birthday on april 25, and my brother Wil's birthday on May 6, we had a little celebration. Wil got a basketball hoop, and my mother spoiled me with 20 gifts a reminder of each year I was alive and what I loved most that year. It was such a cute idea and i got 20 gifts! woohoo! Still 1 more to go since i'm not 21 yet. But soon :)

New addition to the family

okay i'm sorry but I can't wait any longer to post this, just last saturday we had added another addition to the family. 2002 Ford Mustang GT, aka: aarons new girlfriend. he now officially has 2 girlfriends.... his motorcycle, and his mustang. Good thing he only has one true love of his life: ME :) anyways, we got the stang for a great deal (also known as a "devin deal" but thats a story for another time). Aaron is very happy with his purchase it's got all the upgrades a guy could ask for. I wont list them cuz I dont know what half of them are called or what they even do. To tell you the truth i'm quite happy with my honda accord and the simpleness of it haha. We can't wait to cruise down to Utah next weekend to show the family :) and maybe we'll grab a little in-in-out burger while we're down there!! we are being food deprived in rexburg... who wants Wendy's Mcdonalds and jack in the crack to choose from when you can In In Out! it's only a 3.5 hour drive!

magazine galor

well lately since working out at the gym I need something to keep hold of my attention, music only does it for so long... and the byu idaho gym only carries Nat'l Geographic (i know, right?) so I grabbed a Better Homes & Gardens magazine the other day. They are not to expensive and if i'm lucky they will hold my attention for about a week of working out. Needless to say, I read every single word. And my heavens the designs & colors blow me away, i could stare for hours.






Anyway, and now my cute friend Christa started a blog where we could all look at delicious meals, great book reviews, and creative craft ideas all on the same site. oh and bytheway, April Fool's day got me this year. My little sister texted me at 1am and told me "I dont know if mom was planning on telling you, but she thinks she's pregnant" and me not realizing it was april fools day that early i started freaking out. Freaking out because my mother has done this once before! (p.s. she is 48!) So I went most of day thinking what I was going to tell her, how is this possible... then finally looked at the date and started to cry slash laugh. yup.

P.S. the first day of spring came and gone, and now its officially winter again. Rexburg got like 3 inches today.. ya.. plus, my bro in law and his wife are in vegas enjoying the nice "skydiving" weather there :) my other bro in law and sister in law are in NYC enjoying a lovely spring break whilst i'm at work driving on the snow infested roads. My day will come soon, right?
