its about time...

I posted about our Valentines Day ~ Valentines 2011, with my hubby! We had gone out to eat on a double date {Lindsay & Tanner} on saturday, so I just counted that as our nice dinner. Also we went to a movie, The Eagle. Then Monday rolls around, the day of, and it was pretty much a normal day... Work, Gym, Home, dinner... watch The Office episodes... That's what we do best! We love to sit and cuddle together and watch our shows.

Today is Sunday, and also 1 day before Valentines. I thought it appropriate to express my love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church is true, and Jesus Christ is real. I love that I have my own Saviour, He died for me, and he loves me. There is no one else on earth that loves me more then He does. And I love him too.

My little sister PJ was born today, 5 years ago. 5 Years!! May seem like nothing, but I was practically a mother back then. I Love her so much and am sad to not spend this day with her. Her fun princess & ballerina partys. She's one of the most important people in my life, and bring me a lot of joy and happiness.

Look at how cute she was when she she little! I miss this age...



She'll always be my little angel baby, she truly was a miracle child and has made our family even more happy then we were before her. I love family, and I love my little Paisley June. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Yes, you read right... My awesome & thoughtful husband was PAYING ATTENTION to my more then obvious signals that I wanted a new sports/exercise watch... something similar to the Nike Sport Band, only this is BETTER. Its the Polar watch. Tracks everything! Your: heart rate, lap times, speed/pace, distance, MPH, time/date, timer/stopwatch, and calories youve burned in a workout/day. Woah, right?

Also, heres to 4 days left before VALENTINES DAY (my hubby's going to have to wait! although my gift is not nearly as good as his was!)

Here's to healthy eating! Thought I would show you a picture of some of the actual healthy foods I have in my kitchen, aka proof.

We've got from left to right.... Pure Protein Bars (20grams each bar) great flavors, only at costco. Turkey Jerky, much healthier then the real stuff, Turkey burger (wow its better then i thought!) just add lots of spices/flavoring, whole wheat bread of course, Trader Joe's Vanilla almond granola cereal, YUM. Almonds, with sea salt (best snack ever), my Whey Protein to drink alongside breakfast and after a hard workout, last but not least, the delicious Almond Breeze Milk (Lactose & Soy Free) Its so good!

So here you have it, i've made some simple changes that really make my meals taste better too. May our valentines be full of healthy foods, and just a little bit of chocolate ;)

6 days, yes i know you know...

this 6th day of love is brought to you by..... my job! Apria Healthcare! Now I may only be customer service but, hey I like it alright? I get to talk to cute old men telling me how beautiful my name is and starting singing me the song I'm named after... "and aubrey was her name...." But thats like only one every 500 calls. P.s. I take an average of 75 calls a day spanning from 30 seconds to 20 minutes! I prefer the 30 seconds, naturally. But anyways, I love my job mostly because of the people that work there. I have... Jackie, Ronald, Keshun, Aleta, Trish, Heather, Oscar, Fredo, Mikey, etc... And we're all buds! They make work fun and easy and we love to help eachother out, also we love to tease eachother and play jokes. Like call eachothers phone extentions numberous times to see if they can guess who it is and annoy them! {thats just a call center thing to do, if you know what i mean}.

Anyways, less than 1 week left til Valentines day, then I can focus on a newlywed party i'm throwing, mothers bday, mother in law's, father in laws, and MY 22ND BIRTHDAY! Should I have a party? I think YES.

WITH SOME COOKIES AND KVAS WHICH IS THEIR MOST POPULAR DRINK {NOT MY FAVORITE, BUT FUN TO HAVE LIKE ONCE A YEAR...}

of LOVE... and here is to working out! No, love and workout don't belong in the same sentence but lately for me they have been. Using the 24/hour gym pass that I got for christmas, I either go bymyself, with my bff Lindsay, or with Aaron... and I do cardio 30 minutes and weights 30 minutes.




I have really been loving working out lately, and it is fun too. Getting in shape feels so good and especially having a friend to do it with. My goal is a 5k by my birthday this year: April 25th. I love february, I love fun and I love working out! Only 9 more days left til Valentines day..... Are you ready?

p.s. this Nike Sportband is SO COOL, it tracks your pace, time, calories burned, distance ,etc... Maybe a birthday gift!?

Not only am I blessed to live in such a wonderful area, but the weather just so happens to be nice too. SoCal never fails to disappoint in the weather department... Yes, there's the occasional rainy days, massive monsoons, earthquakes, and super hot as hades days... but then there's days like these.. the 73s, and the 75s that make it all worth it!

Here's to sun, warmth, and happy days. As much as I admit i'm not a california girl, I think I really am one. At Heart. I'm lovin' Februrary 2011.

of LOVE left! (I missed yesterday, and for a good reason!) Here's to having fun with my husband! He surprised me with tickets to see the Anaheim Ducks hockey game! And then a couple weeks before that he surprised me with tickets to the Pro Bull Riding show... He's awesome! Needless to say, we love having a good time. And I'm so glad I get to have so much fun with him. We love trying new things and going fun places.





Anaheim Ducks vs. San Jose Sharks. Sharks took the win 4-3 but it was such an awesome & exciting game! I really thought the Ducks were going to tie it up in the last 2 minutes... That was my first official pro hockey game and we're going again in a couple weeks, I'm so excited!

I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC {I fell in love with country when I was 15 - first song I fell in love with, if I can remember right, either was Mayberry by Rascal Flatts, or Red Dirt Road by Brooks & Dunn. I've been a goner ever since}






I will never doubt my obsession with country music, it rings true to my soul. And here's to day 1 of Love.
