Probably the best party i've ever been to... anywho, I was SO lucky because I got to the beach at 8:30am and i got the very last pit! I bummed it off a bum. I didn't get his name but i asked "excuse me sir, are you saving this pit until this evening?" "no, i'm just being a bum today, you can have it" "thank you" "if i find anything to eat can i come and warm it up here later?" "certainly! Thank you!" and there you have it, i was at the beach camping out by myself for... 6 hours until a friend came to accompany me. Then everyone slowly started to trickle in and the party began! Played some badmitton, football, soccer... grilled some delicious habenero pepper jack cheese sausages... chips, cookies, licorice galore! Everyone said they had a great time. Glad to know Aaron and I can throw a party :) Next time, we'll stick to a budget! And happy birthday to me! Can't believe I'll be 22 (birthday isn't until april 25th)! I feel older, like 24, not that that is much older... I'm so glad I chose the 16th to throw the party that day, it was PERFECT weather, inland was 90 and at the beach was 80 with a nice breeze. Doesn't get any better then that! On the birthday checklist for this year... Skydiving!

Branding & Big Wins

The month of March has been good to us so far! Grandparents came into town last night and we ending up seeing them at the Anaheim Ducks game! This game was awesome! Our seats were WAY up top 2nd from the roof... but as horrible as it sounds, it is actually a really good view for a hockey game because you can see the whole ice rink. The first period was amazing and Ducks scored 1 goal, then randomly the grandparents and uncle charlie showed up, of course they were row 6, haha. So the 2nd period goes by and it was a slow painful 17:00 minutes of torture. Dallas Stars scored 3 and our hope was almost shattered like the ice on the rink...



So then the 3rd period rolls around and pretty much all hope was lost, then the last 7 minutes the Ducks tie it up!! 3-3!! And I forgot to mention, during the middle of the periods uncle charlie and his awesome seats became AVAILABLE!! He gave us his tickets!! I've never been so close to the players!! Anyways, long story short they go into OVERTIME and its sudden death (whoever scores the first goal wins) so the overtime is 5:00 minutes and about 7 seconds left, the ducks score for the win. The energy was INSANE, can't even explain it!

Our other fun highlight of the weekend... Grandparents come into town! We had BBQ at Uncle Charlie's awesome house. We did a little backyard branding, spa, and lounging on the couch!

It's going to be a great month! Not to mention, dinner with friends tomorrow night! :)

its about time...

I posted about our Valentines Day ~ Valentines 2011, with my hubby! We had gone out to eat on a double date {Lindsay & Tanner} on saturday, so I just counted that as our nice dinner. Also we went to a movie, The Eagle. Then Monday rolls around, the day of, and it was pretty much a normal day... Work, Gym, Home, dinner... watch The Office episodes... That's what we do best! We love to sit and cuddle together and watch our shows.
