Angels, Sunsets and more...

I am so sorry I haven't updated in about 1 month! What a shame. But hey, at least I write in my personal journal! that's really all that matters :-) A LOT has been going on! I have my camera attached at the hip!
I was the photographer for this years ARW Appreciation Party at the Angels game - I loved taking great pictures and details of the game and people.
I guess i've been doing more ARW gigs then i thought! Here are a few cute doggy ones of Charlie and Ally's (cousin) dogs, Baby the chi-weenie and LuLu the dauschand. This time were were at a company event at a local park...
Just last night we went out to dinner with some friends and we decided to ride the motorcycle. We really don't ride it that often but i'm glad we did. Its fun. scary, but fun. last night there was an INCREDIBLE sunset so i'm glad we got some sweet pics of that. Including one of me with my gear :-) i hope that's aaron's screen saver or something hot like that.
Here I am being so lame at work :-) I was lucky to be asked to take some photos of newport coast and the great trails and parks over there... its right by the NB Temple. I had SOO much fun. I even brought my tripod along... I couldn't resist... (check out my photo blog for more awesome images i took there)
And something SUPER cool.. which you might have already saw on my Facebook... I took some photos of a awesome house in Upland for some twin girl realtors! They have their own tv show on HGTV called Natural Born Sellers. They were a lot of fun to work with and I hope to maintain a great working relationship with them! They do a lot of fun and BIG houses!
Other than that..... I've just been super busy with work. This past week was my busiest week with 5 jobs. Ideally i'd have about 7 - 10 to be able to really help out with paying the bills. I am just trying to network and market myself as much as possible! In about a year or less we'll see where things are at and make a decision of whether or not to continue it or not. I am really hoping things will be doing great by then. We'll see! ***Upcoming exciting things.... Fall (hopefully this heat will cool down soon!), Aaron's 27th Birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween.... This is the best time of the year! :-)

our trip to san diego

Oh how sweet it is to be loved by you! Aaron, of course :) Weekend getaways are truly refreshing to the mind, body, soul and marriage! As you can see below, we had a lot of fun (as usual!)
loving the king size bed!
walking to the Gaslamp District
Ate at The Old Spaghetti Factory! Yum!
Checked out Westfield Horton Plaza.... 5 Levels of outdoor dining, entertaining and shopping! here's Aaron taking advantage of the free massage chairs at Brookstone
We drove to La Jolla and went Kayaking! That was the funnest thing we did this trip. Checked it off out bucket list! We did a tandem kayak, went with a group out to the sea caves and saw a whole bunch of sea lions. It was so fun!
And of course we heard great things about this dessert place just blocks from our hotel! And trust me it will NOT disappoint! For lunch we had the Italian Salami Sandwich and a Mozzarella Grilled Cheese with pesto and tomato (very good!!) and then the desserts..... they will knock your taste buds outta this world! I got the raspberry chocolate cake and aaron got a chocolate chip cookie and a cheesecake brownie. All delicious and made me a little chocolate wasted.
We are glad to be back at home but not so much to go to work tomorrow.... you do what you got to do and enjoy those moments even more when we're together. May our love and marriage always be eternal and filled with laughter and good times... I love my Aaron and he loves me!

Happy 4 Years to Us!

4 LONG YEARS!!!! just kidding.....! Aaron and I were married on this day in 2008, and what a day it was! Spectacular, memorable, special, our moment in time.... I wish I could go back to that day and just soak in our love more! And i'll tell you, I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into, Okay, maybe a little. But you seriously never know what you're going to have to face after your married. We've been tremendously blessed by the Lord and haven't had to many of those days but man is it all worth it.
One thing I don't want to forget to mention is how much my Aaron makes me laugh. Everyday. Whether he's making fun of me, at himself, talking in a funny voice, anything! He's always making me laugh or we're laughing together at something. What a beautiful thing laughter is in my life. It allows for pain or heartache to go away and fills my body with love and memories. Aaron is the best at cheering me up and putting a smile on my face. I never thought I'd marry a motorcycle fanatic or even an Elf. This guy keeps me on my toes. Heck I don't need children, just him. He's enough. He'll always be enough. But yes children will come... someday...
I don't think i've grown this much in my whole life then I did these past 4 years. I would not trade it for anything. My life with Aaron is good and I seriously can't believe how blessed we've been. God has been so good to us.
The Temple. Not just any temple.... they are all great.... but the one we got sealed in was incredible. 40 years to build that thing? Wow. It really paid off. My parents and both sets of Grand Parents got sealed there. Growing up we had a big picture of the Salt Lake City Temple and in my heart I always wanted to get married there. So many family members and apostles/prophets have been married there too. I just wanted it to happen. If I had married anyone else I probably wouldn't have gotten married there... but I did! It happened! And it wasn't out of the way for anyone? Except my little family in cali... but that didn't matter. My dream came true. And even better, we were in sealing room "A", that put a smile on our faces. A is our letter. We're a triple threat to some.
I love my husband and he means the world to me. I try hard to make him proud and in return he ends up blowing my mind with how incredible he is.
I am happy to say we're even happier today together then we were 4 years ago. To say we're excited to be together forever would be an understatement. Off to San Diego we go to celebrate and relax!! ((p.s. A little secret..... Aaron is VERY TALENTED at poems!! I was lucky enough to get a few before we were married..... here's a peek)) "This is where we get to see A little glimpse into eternity Where we make covenants with God Be sealed, smile, say yes, and nod This is the place where it's you and me This is how we grow together and be The happiest couple known to man Live the gospel, do the best we can" If that didn't seal the deal what did?! His good looks I suppose :)
