boating 2009

welp, we've gone boating again. and needless to say, we got burned! wish I had a picture of how badly it was... not anything like 3rd degree burns or anything, but it sure did hurt! trying to sleep is the worst! but i'd say it was worth it... somewhat. It was basically our first time in our swimsuits all year and in the sun for more than and hour or so. Idaho has made us look like albinos!

So we went on Uncle Charlies boat with some friends from Aarons work and some other family. It was definitaly fun to be out in the water having a good time, and eating good food, and especially laying out under the warm california sun. UNTIL, you get sea-sick. Now, i hardly ever get sea sick. But the water was ChOpPy! And while in between loading up the raft to go for a ride, we were a-rockin' that boat like crazy! which led to me throwing up off the side like 5 times... I hope i atleast lost some weight with that! Hmm.. doesn't look like it...

Well, everyone but me and charlie went on the tube. We all knew Aaron would be last to finish up the rounds because charlie planned on KILLING HIM. Well, he almost suceeded in his goal, but Aaron held on for his life. Boy were we all laughing as Aaron was gettin' worked! And he managed to not fall off. And ended up getting $100 out of it!! And the best part of the whole day for me was seeing about 100 dolphins swim, flip, and follow our boat! Ocean animals are truly amazing. What a thrill to see so many dolphins at one time.
