A saturday with the Antis's

yesterday was a funfilled day... we drove the 1 hour and precisely 10 minutes to Los Angeles via navigation by our new TomTom :) to meet up with my father-in-law David and his lovely wife Julie for brunch at noon. We ate at the Novel Cafe in Westwood, right down the street from UCLA. We ate, talked, and talked some more. Its fun to get together with them whenever we can. They are searching for an apartment in Los Angeles area. Big move from NYC if you ask me! After that Aaron and I went to the Los Angeles Temple and walked around it. Its such a beautiful temple! Its somewhat placed like the Rexburg Temple, on top of a large hill for the whole city to see.

Then we headed to the place where "i want that! i want this! that too!!" is every other sentence coming out of my mouth. IKEA. That place is amazing, a piece of HGTV right in front of your eyes to embrace. We are in the middle of furnishing our new apartment looking for practically everything. The only thing we actually have is couches. We need basically everything else. So IKEA is the place to go. I think the only thing we actually got was pillows and cool covers for them. We actually get to design a place cuz we're not moving for at least one year.... possibly two! yay! :)

Then headed home and made some dinner.. and watched this awesome movie!

A great way to spend a Saturday if you ask me. Now if only I could find a job to buy all those things we need...
